When a person finds him/herself in an at-risk lifestyle, too often basic human needs go unmet. The need for water is one of the most basic of human needs. As a matter of fact, in 2010, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution stating that access to water is a basic human right.
In that vein, every day the Mission provides a bottle of water along with a sandwich and a mask to any visitor who comes to our doors for help.
An important way to help us maintain our efforts year-round, but especially during hot and humid summer weather is to donate water (16.9 oz. bottles are best). If you can donate, at least a case, it helps us meet people’s needs. Help us keep the “hydration station” going!
