Washington, DC—September 28, 2018—Central Union Mission is participating in the One City, One Hope event taking place at Washington Community Fellowship (907 Maryland Avenue, NE) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, September 28.

According to One City, One Hope, “The event’s name comes from Ephesians 4, which calls all Christians to be part of one body, one hope and one faith. We may live all across DC and serve in different ways, but we are all working together to bring about justice and God’s kingdom in Washington, DC.”
Mission Executive Director Joe Mettimano commented, “One City, One Hope is an important opportunity to be in unity with other Christian faith-based service organizations in our city. We all serve the same God, and we’re grateful that we can turn to Him to help vulnerable people in Washington, DC.” Media are invited to come to this community worship and prayer service; a light reception follows. Free registration is available. Please contact Deborah Chambers at 202-534-9965 cell or dchambers@missiondc.org to coordinate interviews. |
