Family Ministries Client, August 2008

Pastor de Casanova tells of Anna, one of the ministry’s original students. About six years ago, Pastor de Casanova and other volunteers helped her to leave her “nightmare” apartment and to find a clean, new one. Then in 2007, with the financial security and knowledge she gained from the Family Ministry, Anna purchased her own home.

The program provides English language instruction, GED preparation, health consultations, vocational support, and valuable services such as food, clothing, furniture and distribution. The Family Ministry also provides immediate aid and long-term training to enable families to improve their financial situations.
