I am grateful at this time for the opportunity of offering my testimony, to give my praise to Jesus Christ in answer to my prayers to abolish the curse of drink from my life.

When I knelt at the alter in the Central Union Mission and asked Jesus to intercede to God the Father, who is in heaven, to please hear my prayer, He took away the habit of drink, a habit I have tried every conceivable way to stop.

I can truthfully say from that night my prayers have been answered and I am still praying, asking Jesus to help me consecrate my life to Him. I want to be one of His devout followers as is described in Psalm 119:2, 3, “Blessed are they that keep His testimony, and that seek Him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity, they walk in His ways.”
